About a year ago, I began experiencing heart pain, arrhythmia, palpitations, and increasing fatigue even with minor physical exertion. After examinations at several clinics, it was determined that I had a bicuspid aortic valve and required replacement with a mechanical valve. Based on the recommendations of multiple physicians, I chose the N. I. Pirogov Clinic. After hospitalization, I learned that Dr. Gleb Irlamovich Kim would be performing the surgery. The operation was carried out on December 8. Before the surgery, Dr. Kim explained in detail why the operation was necessary, what would be done before and during the procedure, and how the postoperative period would proceed. After the operation, he explained the rehabilitation process and what was needed for a faster recovery. I recovered fairly quickly after the surgery. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Dr. Kim and all medical staff involved in the operation and postoperative care for their high level of responsibility, responsiveness, and professionalism. Thank you very much! What I liked: Responsiveness, attentiveness, and professionalism.
