About the Center

History of the Center

Center for Cardiac Surgery and Interventional Cardiology was founded in 2014 on the basis of the Clinic of Advanced Medical Technologies named after N.I.Pirogov St. Petersburg State University.

Over the 10 years of operation of the Center, the number of heart surgeries has increased from 30 to 800 operations per year, including high-tech, open-heart and cardiopulmonary bypass, as well as endovascular and rhythm correction operations hearts.

In a short period of time, our Center has become one of the leading institutions in Russia for the surgical treatment of diseases of the cardiovascular system of the adult population.

Worldwide Recognition

The results of treatment in our clinic are highly appreciated not only by patients and leading Russian specialists, but also by renowned doctors from Germany, Italy, Denmark, with whom the Center regularly exchanges experience and conducts demonstration operations.
