Outpatient cardiology
Patients with cardiovascular disease are seen six days a week, 08.00 to 20.00, at four SPbU sites in Saint Petersburg. The outpatient unit holds more than 25,000 consultations a year.

The clinic was founded in 2014. Over 12 years the clinic has built a single system of care for patients with cardiovascular disease, in which diagnostic and treatment units work as one team. Today the service includes:
- the outpatient cardiology department;
- the functional diagnostics department;
- the department of cardiovascular surgery and interventional cardiology;
- the cardiac unit of the anesthesiology and intensive care department.
This structure lets the clinic accompany the patient at every stage and make decisions based not only on a single diagnosis but on the person's overall condition, other illnesses and the expected result of treatment.

Complex cases are reviewed by a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, cardiovascular and endovascular surgeons, arrhythmologists, anesthesiologists-intensivists and functional diagnostics specialists — meet the clinic's doctors.

Main areas of the clinic's work
Reconstructive valve surgery
Whenever possible, surgeons preserve the patient's own valve. The clinic performs reconstructive and minimally invasive operations and combined correction of valve disease, coronary disease and rhythm disorders.
Aortic surgery
Open, endovascular and hybrid methods are used to treat aortic disease. The clinic performs valve-sparing operations, aortic replacement, EVAR and TEVAR, and procedures with custom-made stent grafts.
Endovascular surgery
The clinic performs diagnostic studies and coronary stenting, transcatheter aortic valve implantation, closure of septal defects and other procedures for structural heart disease. Intravascular imaging and functional flow assessment help evaluate complex coronary anatomy.
Arrhythmology
Specialists perform catheter treatment of rhythm disorders and implant and program pacemakers and other devices. The clinic is developing high-density mapping and modern radiofrequency ablation technology.
Vascular surgery
A separate area is the creation and reconstruction of vascular access for hemodialysis. The clinic also performs multilevel and hybrid vascular reconstructions, carotid artery surgery, and provide vascular support in complex cancer operations.
Expert functional diagnostics
All studies are performed by functional diagnostics doctors with basic training in cardiology. The results are used in the context of a specific clinical question and the planned treatment. For complex studies, specialists can check the findings right in the operating room — this link between diagnostics and daily surgical practice helps assess risk more accurately and choose the best intervention.
Follow-up after surgery
Treatment does not end on the day of discharge. Patients can continue to see the clinic's cardiologists in person or online, get recovery advice and therapy adjustments, have follow-up tests, and ask for an expert opinion if they feel worse. Clinical work is combined with the research and teaching of Saint Petersburg State University. The clinic's specialists:
