Many thanks to Dmitry Viktorovich for the successful complex surgery involving multiple bypass grafts on my heart. The operation took place on May 29, 2026, and within a day I was transferred from the ICU to the ward. A week later, I was already home. Now I understand the expression “golden hands” much better. My cardiac history began back in 2002, when I suffered a heart attack at the age of 35 without realizing it at the time. Dmitry Viktorovich understood my situation, explained all the risks and the need for intervention — after all, two arteries were completely blocked and the third was 50% blocked — made the only correct decision, and carried it out in practice. I went to the professor without anxiety, because, according to a knowledgeable friend, there is probably no better professional in St. Petersburg. Once again, thank you to all the staff, and especially to Professor D. V. Shmatov, for the surgery and treatment.

On May 18, I was admitted to this wonderful clinic, and already on May 19, I underwent surgery. Everything went perfectly; I did not even notice any difficulties. Thanks to Alexey Alexandrovich Filippov, I recovered very quickly. He was very attentive to me and explained everything very clearly. He performed my surgery and then stayed with me throughout the entire period. He became like a father to me. From the bottom of my heart, I express my deep gratitude to Alexey Alexandrovich and the entire staff of the cardiac surgery and intensive care departments.

It turned out that additional examinations were needed, and I was taken to another facility without any problems, where everything necessary was done. It was determined that the valve did not need to be repaired, and only bypass surgery was required. The operation went very well, everything was smooth, and on the second day I was transferred to the ward, where I recovered quickly. Gleb Irlamovich Kim was my attending physician and performed my surgery. He noticed that I needed one more examination, and it was done without any delays. I really liked Dr. Kim — he is an attentive and competent physician.
