I am impressed by cardiac surgeon Gleb Irlamovich. I first met him at the N.I. Pirogov Clinic of High Medical Technologies, where I was referred for open-heart surgery! While preparing for the operation, I read Gleb Irlamovich’s book “Heart Surgery: A Patient’s Guide”, which describes in detail the process of coronary artery bypass surgery, heart valve replacement, and postoperative rehabilitation. I liked this guide so much that I decided to meet Gleb Irlamovich in person. We discussed the details of the surgery and recovery in depth and talked about important aspects of rehabilitation. I express my immense gratitude to the author of the book — he is a wonderful person, a master of his craft, and a very responsible and experienced doctor!
