Cardiac Surgery and Interventional Cardiology Center Wins the ProDoctorov-2025 People’s Award

The Center of Cardiac Surgery and Interventional Cardiology of the Pirogov Clinic of High Medical Technologies at St. Petersburg State University has confirmed its status as a national healthcare leader by winning the ProDoctorov‑2025 People’s Award.

Following the Grand Prix award ceremony held in Sochi, the Cardiac Surgery Center ranked 1st among state medical institutions in Saint Petersburg. For the third consecutive year, the University Clinic remains the only medical institution in Russia whose branches simultaneously occupy two top positions in the national ranking.

The ProDoctorov Award is a nationwide project in which winners are determined exclusively by verified patient reviews collected over the previous year. This evaluation model makes the recognition particularly meaningful, as it directly reflects patient trust and satisfaction with the quality of medical care.

The Grand Prix victory followed the Center’s success at the regional stage of the award, where leading physicians in their respective specialties were announced. Outstanding results were achieved by cardiovascular surgeons Gleb I. Kim, Ilshat S. Asadullin, and Ruslan Y. Kappushev, as well as electrophysiologists Anton A. Sheremet and Evgeny I. Zubarev, who collectively occupied the entire podium in their categories.
