AI in cardiac surgery: experience of our doctor

The doctor of the cardiovascular surgeon of the Center, M.D. Gleb Kim organized and conducted a series of lectures on the application of innovative technologies in cardiac surgery. These events brought together doctors, students and residents seeking to learn more about modern approaches to the treatment of cardiovascular diseases and implement their own projects.

One of the key topics was the lecture «Cardiac surgery and artificial intelligence», where the possibilities of using artificial intelligence for the diagnosis and treatment of heart pathologies were discussed. Gleb Kim presented the results of his long—term work on the Expert Opinion AI project, a unique artificial intelligence-based system that will help doctors in remote regions of Russia correctly diagnose and treat heart and vascular diseases.

In addition, in early September, another lecture was held on modern innovations in cardiac surgery. Gleb Kim shared his experience of introducing artificial intelligence into medical practice and highlighted the key stages of the development of medical technologies — from the idea to their integration into everyday practice.

At the Kazan Digital Week 2024 international forum, Gleb Kim presented the Expert Opinion AI project as part of the Tatar Venture Games startup battle, arousing the interest of experts and forum participants. His developments attracted the attention of IT specialists and opened up new opportunities for cooperation.

Kim Gleb's next lecture, «The way to develop an innovative medical product with artificial intelligence elements» will be held on September 26 within the framework of the XII International Health Forum in Expoforum, and on November 1 he will speak at the conference «Medicine at the junction of modern technologies» with a report «Artificial Intelligence in an innovative clinic».
