I had arrhythmia since childhood. Doctors prohibited me from doing sports, except chess, but in my teenage years I successfully ignored their recommendations and started doing sports. At 17, I was diagnosed with WPW syndrome. Over time, the arrhythmia stopped occurring in everyday life and appeared only occasionally during extreme physical exertion, which caused a loss of power during sports and increased the risk of injury during freeriding, rafting, rope jumping, cross-country cycling races, and other activities. Several years ago, I decided to restore my health and athletic fitness as much as possible. I searched for a doctor based on specialists’ recommendations. At the initial appointment, Evgeny Igorevich assessed my condition and, based on previous studies, suggested radiofrequency ablation of the accessory conduction pathway. During the procedure, together with a team of equally competent colleagues, Evgeny Igorevich found and ablated the extra bundles of conducting fibers that caused the arrhythmia. I am completely satisfied with the operation. A couple of weeks after surgery, I had already tested my “new engine firmware” on a rafting trip down the Krasnenkaya River, over class 4 and 5 rapids. My heart works perfectly — it did not even falter. Thank you very much!

I consulted a doctor for arrhythmia in 2025, and by March 2026 I had already undergone surgery. The consultation and surgery were performed by Evgeny Igorevich Zubarev. During his visit to our city, he reviewed my test results and recommended surgery in St. Petersburg. He explained everything clearly and provided written instructions for hospitalization. In March 2026, at the Clinic of High Medical Technologies of the Pirogov Clinic, Dr. Zubarev performed radiofrequency ablation (RFA). Thanks to his professionalism, the procedure went smoothly and successfully. I now feel well. What I liked: Not a single unnecessary word or movement during the procedure. The doctor’s calmness and confidence gave me confidence that my health was in reliable hands.

In September 2025, I sent a letter to the SPbU Clinic to Dr. E. I. Zubarev. Based on the examinations I provided, Evgeny Igorevich recommended additional tests and later decided on hospitalization. In January 2026, radiofrequency ablation (RFA) was performed with his participation. The surgery lasted about two hours. I was discharged the next day. After the operation, I feel well, and my quality of life has improved. Finally, I no longer suffer from arrhythmia.

I came in regarding a repeat radiofrequency ablation (RFA). It took the doctor only a few minutes to make the diagnosis, confirm the need for surgery, and issue me a referral to be placed on the waiting list. One year later, he personally performed the operation. The level of care was “close to divine.” Thanks to Dr. Evgeny Igorevich and the entire Pirogov team, I now fall asleep and wake up to the steady rhythm of my own heart. I was impressed by the physician’s professionalism in the broadest sense, as well as by the coordinated work of the entire medical team and nursing staff.

Today I had an appointment with cardiovascular surgeon Dr. Evgeny Igorevich Zubarev. The doctor carefully studied my medical history and asked all the necessary questions. He placed me on the waiting list for a government quota, which was very important for me, and gave detailed recommendations. Everything was explained clearly and understandably. I highly recommend such an attentive doctor. What I liked: Attentiveness to the patient.
